Naadam

The naadam ceremony has ist reason in the mongolian independence. It takes place during july 11th to 13th. Everywhere in Mongolia there are competitions in the fields of riding, wrestling and archery. A lot of traditional food is served. To greet each other during this time it’s usual to change snuff-boxes made out of stone.
