    Das Jahr 2007 verlief für die Takhis insgesamt erfreulich. Es gab 28 Geburten und 16 Todesfälle, bis auf vier Fälle alles Fohlen. Die Todesursache konnte mit wenigen Ausnahmen nicht eruiert werden. Es ist nicht mehr als eine Vermutung, dass in einigen Fällen Wölfe im Spiel waren.
